As technology is used more and more in classrooms, digital devices are increasingly becoming staple learning tools that teachers and educators use to make learning easier.

"We believe that technology has the power to transform the classroom," Apple says on its education website.

"It can pave new ways of thinking. New ways of sparking ideas. Yet the foundation never changes: a dedication to learning hat's always been part of our DNA."

"We've been proud to work alongside educators and students to re-invent what it means to tech and learn. And together we;re doing things we never though possible"

The tech giant has worked alongside the education industry for a long time, and has created dedicated products for schools and teachers to use in the classroom.

Apple's iPad, Mac and Apple TV are present in many schools across New Zealand, with specialised education apps available through the App Store.
